Welcome to Drivers Choice Traffic School.
Drivers Choice Traffic School course is licensed by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and complies with all the DMV requirements. This course is approved for all California courts.
Drivers Choice Traffic School course is very simple. There are no “EXTRAS”, such as meaningless games or fillers to take up your time. This course is a text based course that enables it to be taken on your computer or any other device (tablet or phone) or at any location, as long as you have an internet connection.
The online course is as simple as 1-2-3. But first you must register. All credit cards are accepted through Pay Pal. If you do not have a Pay Pal account, use the "Pay with a Debit or Credit Card or PayPal Credit" link. After purchase you will be sent a unique password via e-mail. Then log-in with your username and unique password.
You can log-in and log-out at your convenience, as many times as you find necessary. Just sign-in with your username, password and your answer to a security question, which is completed during registration. Go to the Table of Contents and scroll down to the chapter where you left off and click.
This course has eleven (11) chapters. There is a quiz at the end of each chapter, which you must pass to go onto the next chapter. The reading material and quizzes contain information that you will need to pass the twenty-five (25) question, multiple choice final exam. The final exam questions are randomly controlled by computer. You must score 70% or higher to pass the final exam.
Once the student completes the final exam they will “IMMEDIATELY” receive a message indicating their exam score and whether they have passed or failed the course. If the student passes the first (1st ) final exam they DO NOT have to take the second (2nd ) final exam.
If the student fails the first (1st) final exam, the DMV regulations allow the student to take a second (2nd) final exam. The DMV only allows a person to take each final exam once. We recommend the student review the course and retake the quizzes before taking the second (2nd) final exam. If the student fails both final exams, they should contact the school office to re-register at NO CHARGE.
When the student has successfully passed either the first (1st) or second (2nd) final exam, the DMV will be notified electronically that the student has successfully passed the traffic violator course. The court is also notified thru the DMV. The student will be sent an official copy of the DMV record update along with an official Completion Receipt in U. S. Mail. Please allow 3 to 5 days for USPS delivery.
Drivers Choice Traffic School will allow the student 90 days, after their traffic school due date, to complete the course. After the 90 days the student’s registration information will be deleted. If the court gives the student an extension the student must notify Drivers Choice Traffic School, so we can change their traffic school due date.
